Brewfest

The Ballarat Beer Festival is presented by industry professionals that bring a wealth of craft beer, hospitality, major event and marketing experience to the event.

 

Simon Coghlan has a proud family history of Brewing in Ballarat – his Great, Great Grandfather was the founder of the Ballarat Brewing Company.  Simon is a passionate publican of two successful hotels in Ballarat – The Golden City and Western Hotels.  Simon is also a board member of Ballarat Regional Tourism and Commerce Ballarat.

 

Tim Kearney is co-owner of Golden City Hotel and the newly renovated Western Hotel in Ballarat. Also hailing from Ballarat, Tim has an extensive background in hospitality having headed up the operations at three iconic Melbourne venues – the Provincial Hotel, the Albert Park Hotel and finally the Exchange Hotel where he managed the renovation and re-opening.

Lyndell Pond has over 15 years international experience in communications, marketing, brand management and advertising, predominately in the entertainment industry.  Lyndell has worked with the largest musical theatre producers in the world, including on London’s West End and with key entertainment organisations in Australia to deliver entertainment and major event marketing.

 

Kate Burrows is an experienced and passionate event manager, she has project managed many different types of events, ranging from Women’s Business Association events, fashion extravaganzas, gala dinners, fundraisers etc. Kate is also, currently the Event Manager for the Avoca Shire Turf Club and the Coordinator for Springfest Ballarat. http://www.ballaratbeerfestival.com.au/
