HOUSE PROGRAM

At Ivanhoe Grammar School students are placed into four Houses: Sherwood, Athelstane, Lincoln or Thoresby. During their time at school they remain in this House. Students from Years 7 to 12 are all placed into each House. This creates a great opportunity for students to make friends with those in other year levels. Students participate in a range of House activities including sport, trivia and chess as well as the swimming and athletics carnivals that encourage students to participate, dress up and support their House.

The House Program has been put in place to ensure that students are given many opportunities to increase their contribution and commitment to the School community, move outside their comfort zone and form supportive relationships with peers and staff.
